I'm not a career consultant. I've held leadership roles, and been the one accountable when the strategy didn't land.
Twenty years of it, in-house and in consulting.
Long enough to watch the same thing happen over and over. A sound strategy, a good team, and delivery that still drags.
My fascination with this topic led me to research why. It was never the strategy. It was how the business was set up to deliver it.
I work with organisations to close this gap.

Here's what I usually get asked
A clear evidence-based picture of what's actually slowing you down, and what to fix first. Not what people think is going on. And a plan build with you and your people, with names against it that goes into your business plan, not next to it. You've got enough documents you're never going to open again.
Weeks, not quarters. It depends on the scope of work, your organisations size and the pace you want to move. We will agree the timeframe before you say yes to anything.
We operate under a fixed-fee rate based on a clear scope and outcome, agreed before we start. We can offer hourly rates, however, find the simplest way to work is a no surprise approach. The first conversation and scoping at no charge.
Both, and the first part matters more than people expect. Before I fix anything I want to know we're solving the right problem, because what's presented as the problem often isn't it. Once we're sure, we do the work together. And a core part of how I work is to build your team's ability to keep it going, because if it only works while I'm there, it isn't sustainable.
Nothing comes back with a name on it. I'm looking at how the business runs, not who said what. Your people will tell me things they won't tell you, and that's usually where the useful stuff is.
Probably, and it matters less than you'd think. I've worked across most industries - government, banking, insurance, health, aged care and disability, manufacturing, technology, engineering, resources, transport and logistics. What slows a business down looks remarkably similar from the inside, whatever it sells.
Because you get me, someone who has held over 20 years of experience in this space, and I've sat in your seat. I'm not a career consultant. I've held leadership roles and been the one accountable when the strategy didn't land. With a big firm you meet the partner and get the team. Here there's no handover.
