Where do you want us to send the results?

Who this is for

You're growing fast and want what's underneath to keep up with where you're heading

You've got a clear strategy, and delivery isn't happening at the pace it should

The same priorities keep appearing on the agenda quarter after quarter

You're telling your board delivery is in hand, and you want that to rest on evidence not optimism

Every decision still comes back to you

You've tried the obvious fixes, and none of them moved the number

Where I usually come in

Strategic Planning

Getting clear on where you're going, and turning it into something your people can act on.

Operating Model

How the whole business is set up to deliver. Decisions, governance, processes, systems and the skills you need.

Execution

Governance, delivery, and the disciplines that get work over the line rather than started and stalled.

Leadership & Culture

Getting your leadership team leading and deciding as one, and shifting the culture that's quietly working against your ability to achieve your strategy.

Training Programs

Tailored capability programs designed to uplift your people's ability to deliver change in your business.

Most businesses need more than one of these.

Working out where to start is the first thing we do.

Hi, I'm Becs

I'm not a career consultant. I've held leadership roles, and been the one accountable when the strategy didn't land.

Twenty years of it, in-house and in consulting.

Long enough to watch the same thing happen over and over. A sound strategy, a good team, and delivery that still drags.

My fascination with this topic led me to research why. It was never the strategy. It was how the business was set up to deliver it.

I work with organisations to close this gap.

I work with CEOs, boards and executive teams across Australia and NZ

20 years leading major transformation programs

My own research with senior executives on why execution fails and the role societal culture plays in helping and hindering

Independent and evidence based, so you get the picture nobody inside your business can give you

Frequently Asked Questions

Here's what I usually get asked

What do I get out of this?

A clear evidence-based picture of what's actually slowing you down, and what to fix first. Not what people think is going on. And a plan build with you and your people, with names against it that goes into your business plan, not next to it. You've got enough documents you're never going to open again.

How long does it take?

Weeks, not quarters. It depends on the scope of work, your organisations size and the pace you want to move. We will agree the timeframe before you say yes to anything.

What does it cost?

We operate under a fixed-fee rate based on a clear scope and outcome, agreed before we start. We can offer hourly rates, however, find the simplest way to work is a no surprise approach. The first conversation and scoping at no charge.

Do you tell me what's wrong, or do you help me fix it?

Both, and the first part matters more than people expect. Before I fix anything I want to know we're solving the right problem, because what's presented as the problem often isn't it. Once we're sure, we do the work together. And a core part of how I work is to build your team's ability to keep it going, because if it only works while I'm there, it isn't sustainable.

What happens to what my people tell you?

Nothing comes back with a name on it. I'm looking at how the business runs, not who said what. Your people will tell me things they won't tell you, and that's usually where the useful stuff is.

Have you worked in my industry?

Probably, and it matters less than you'd think. I've worked across most industries - government, banking, insurance, health, aged care and disability, manufacturing, technology, engineering, resources, transport and logistics. What slows a business down looks remarkably similar from the inside, whatever it sells.

Why should I talk to you and not a bigger firm?

Because you get me, someone who has held over 20 years of experience in this space, and I've sat in your seat. I'm not a career consultant. I've held leadership roles and been the one accountable when the strategy didn't land. With a big firm you meet the partner and get the team. Here there's no handover.
